As I touched upon in my previous post, I wanted to try and combine a more conventional portfolio layout with some neat features. I decided the first thing I could do to make my portfolio stand out from the crowd was use striking colours with lots of contrast. I wanted to include the flip over effect I talked about previously with my playing card design, so decided to apply this to the thumbnails. Also when the user hovers over the thumbnails, the logos change from white to full colour. I think this design achieves both my goals, as it has a more conventional feel but still manages to stand out from the crowd.
